Reality TV star Brandi Glanville is living proof that what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. In January 2012, her Twitter followers were treated to a drunken Tweet announcing her hasty and unplanned nuptials at a quickie wedding spot in Vegas. Brandi married a friend of hers, Darin Harvey, after consuming entirely too much tequila. The pair announced plans to annul the wedding shortly thereafter. Brandi Glanville’s diet appears to be just as chaotic and unplanned as the rest of her life. While her toned, bikini-ready body is enviable, it doesn’t appear that she’s eating a well-balanced diet to help maintain it.
Brandi appears to habitually eat breakfast while she’s on the go. When she’s suffering from a hangover, she might reach for pink lemonade for breakfast. If she decides to eat actual food for the most important meal of the day, Brandi might eat some drive-thru tacos and orange Tic Tacs. She also eats breakfast sandwiches with sausage from Starbucks, which weigh in at 500 calories each, half of which comes from fat. When she’s feeling a bit healthier, Brandi might make an egg frittata for breakfast at home.
Despite her typical fast food fare for breakfast, Brandi Glanville does enjoy cooking when she has the time. She’s even working on her own cookbook, which hopefully will not include orange Tic Tacs or breakfast tacos. When she’s cooking, Brandi might make spicy sausage rigatoni for lunch and lasagna for dinner. Brandi also enjoys Cuban cuisine and Southern food.
While it’s a refreshing change to see someone in Hollywood actually eat carbohydrates, Brandi Glanville’s diet needs quite a bit of work. Considering her typical meal plan, it’s surprising that the focus of her cookbook is on heart-healthy fare. Brandi could make her own diet much more heart-healthy (and waistline-friendly) by sitting down to breakfast regularly instead of resorting to the drive-thru. We’d suggest whole grains paired with protein for energy, such as a bowl of steel-cut oatmeal mixed with protein powder and fruit. The rest of Brandi’s typical meal plan could use more vegetables. A lot more vegetables, in fact. Someone with Brandi’s hectic schedule would definitely benefit from advanced meal planning as a strategy for weight loss or maintenance.
Brandi Glanville’s workout routine is much more structured than her diet. After she drops her kids off at school, Brandi works with her Pilates trainer. In between Pilates sessions, Brandi stays active by walking her dogs, going for hikes, or going on bike rides with her kids.
